Workshop: Civil Society in Moldova – becoming  stronger and viable – to  be held on 19 April 2010


AED is pleased to invite you to the workshop „Civil society in Moldova – becoming stronger and viable” where the Moldova Civil Society Stregthening Program (MCSSP) and its implementing Moldovan partners will be presented. The event will take place on April 19, 2010, at 10.00, in the Hotel Codru (127 August 31st str., Chisinau).
 
The workshop will include discussion among civil society organizations representatives and partners on the most efficient approaches to make civil society in Moldova viable, stronger and better advocate of citizen interests. The workshop will also serve as a platform for identifying potential opportunities and incentives for relevant stakeholder’s collaboration under the heading of strengthening Moldovan civil society.  Representatives from our international partner, the European Centre for Nonprofit Law, will participate at the discussions on improving the legal and fiscal framework for Moldovan CSOs.
 
MCSSP is a three-year effort funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED). The purpose of the program is to strengthen representative democracy in Moldova through support for a constituent-driven and financially viable civil society sector.
